Kerja keras adalah Energi kita untuk mulai melakukan konservasi energi, dalam arti berupaya menggantikan energi yang tidak dapat diperbaharui dengan energi yang dapat diperbaharui. PT Pertamina ( Persero ) terus melakukan dan mendukung konservasi energi dengan memasarkan biofuel yaitu biosolar, biopertamax dan baru-baru ini PT Pertamina ( Persero ) juga memasarkan bio premium yang dimulai sejak mei 2006. Untuk awal penjualan biopremium hanya dipasarkan di Malang dan empat SPBU di Jakarta. Dan akan terus melakukan perluasan pemasaran bio premium khususnya untuk di daerah Jakarta.

Biopremium adalah campuran premium dengan bio etanol atau bahan bakar cair yang merupakan hasil percampuran 98% premium dan 2% ethanol. (dikutip dari Sumber ). Bioetanol yang dipakai sebagi campuran premium ini di ambil dari ubi kayu. Namun kadar etanol disini hanya 2% artinya pengunaan minyak bumi sebagai energi yang tidak dapat diperbaharui masih sangatlah besar. Begitu juga dengan biosolar kandungan CPO 1%. Dan juga PT Pertamina ( Persero ) harus berkerjasama dengan perusahaan yang siap terjun sebagai pemasok bioetanol untuk melakukan dan mendukung kegiatan konservasi energi ini.

Sedangkan apabila kita bandingkan dengan Amerika Serikat dan Brasil sudah menggunakan Bahan bakar tersebut dikenal di Amerika Serikat sebagai gasohol dan di Brasil sebagai bensin tipe C.Dua campuran umum di AS adalah E10 dan E85 yang mengandung 10% dan 85%etanol. Sedangkan campuran yang umum di Brasil adalah bensin tipe C danjenis oktan tinggi, yang mengandung 20-25% ethanol ( dikuti dari sumber )

Dari perbandingan di atas jelas sekali negara ini dan PT Pertamina ( Persero )dengan slogan barunya "Kerja keras adalah Energi kita" belum melakukan pengoptimalan terhadap sumber daya energi yang dapat di perbaharui seperti yang pernah saya tulis pada artikel saya sebelum ini ( baca di sini ) dan sebagaimana kita ketahui bahwa etanol sendiri bisa dijadikan sebagai bahan bakar murni bensin ataupun hidrogen. Saya tidak tahu apakah ada unsur politik ataukah produksi dalam pengembangan bio etanol sendiri, memang lebih baik implementasi bioetanol ini dengan pencampuran tidak 100% untuk melanjutkan transisi perubahan energi lebih berjalan lancar dan tidak ada penggunaan tanah secara radikal. Tapi sebagaimana kita ketahui (diambil dari sumber) bahwa bio etanol ini diperoleh dari proses sintesa kimia yangdisebut hidrasi, sedangkan bioetanol direkayasa dari biomassa (tanaman)melalui proses biologi (enzimatk dan fermentasi).

Bahan baku bioetanolsebagai berikut :

Bahan berpati,singkong, atau ubi kayu, ubi jalar, tepung sagu, biji jagung, bijisorgum,gandum kentang, ganyong, garut, umbi dahlia, dan lain-lain.
Bahanbergula, berbentuk molasess (tetes tebu), nira tebu, nila kelapa, nilabatang sorgum manis, nira aren (enau), nira nipah, gewang, nira lontardan lain-lain.
Bahanberselulosa, berupa limbah logging,limbah pertanian seperti jeramipadi, ampas tebu, jenggel (tongkol) jagung, onggok (limbah tapioka),batang pisang, serbuk gergaji (grajen) dan lain-lain.

Menurut data BPS tahun 2006, luas sawah di Indonesia adalah 11.9 jutaha. Artinya, potensi jerami padinya kurang lebih adalah 119 juta ton.Apabila seluruh jerami ini diolah menjadi ethanol maka akan diperolehsekitar 9,1 milyar liter ethanol (FGE) dengan nilai ekonomi Rp. 50,1trilyun. Jika dihitung-hitung ethanol dari jerami sudah cukup untukmemenuhi kebutuhan bensin nasional. ( di kutip dari sumber )

Intinya adalah bahwa "Kerja keras adalah energi kita" sejauh mana kita melakukan konservasi dan menghargai energi tersebut sebagi salah satu peran vital sebagai penunjang ekonomi serta kebutuhan energi nasional kita. Apakah sudah cukup dengan memasarkan produk bio fuel tersebut?? dan sejauh mana peran aktif instansi negara salah satunya PT Pertamina serta pemerintah dalam hal ini? ? Pentingnya publikasi pengetahuan mengenai bio etanol sehingga masyarakat bisa menilai bahwa apa arti yang tepat untuk slogan "Kerja keras adalah Energi kita".

Dan juga merupakan tema yang menarik untuk dijadikan topik suatu pembahasan dan terus dikaji, baik dikalangan pelajar ataupun pemerintahan khususnya yang menangani masalah energi. Energi memiliki peran dan pengaruh yang sangat besar buat perekonomian negara ini. Dari industri hulu migas mampu memberikan sumbangan sekitar 30 persen dari total pendapatan negara. Berasal dari pendapatan pajak yang terkait dengan migas sebesar sekitar 45 persen dan atau mencapai55 persen untuk pendapatan dari sisi non pajak. Dari hal tesebut sangatlah jelas bahwa betapa penting sektor migas untuk perekonomian negara ini. Sedangkan PT Pertamina ( Persero ) merupakan Perusahaan Negara yang menyelenggarakan usaha di bidang minyak dan gas bumi beserta hasil olahan dan turunannya. Dengan Kerja keras adalah energi kita harus mampu menyelelesaikan dan mengambil solusi tepat akan masalah energi ini.

Tapi dengan cara menurunkan konsumsi energi dan energi per kapita sangatlah tidak mungkin, mengingat populasi penduduk terus bertambah juga kebutuhan energi akan terus meningkat untuk mendukung kegiatan penunjang ekonomi lainnya. Penghematan energi menurunkan konsumsi energi dan permintaan energi perkapita, sehingga dapat menutup meningkatnya kebutuhan energi akibatpertumbuhan populasi. Hal ini mengurangi naiknya biaya energi, dandapat mengurangi kebutuhan pembangkit energi.

Kerja keras adalah energi kita merupakan tema yang dibuat oleh PT Pertamina dalam memperingati HUT 52. Sejauh ini apa yang telah di perbuat dan akan di perbuat oleh PT Pertamina yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam menyediakan kebutuhan minyak gas dan turunannya. Dan kerja keras adalah energi kita yang seperti apa yang akan di lakukan oleh PT Pertamina dalam 30 sampai 50 tahun ke depan, mengingat sekarang Sumber Daya Alam yang tidak dapat di perbaharui ini semakin langka.

Pemerintah dengan berencana menambahkan kilang baru untuk membantu produksi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat, itu memang benar membantu. Seharusnya pengembangan mengenai BBN lebih dioptimalkan dengan subsidi dari pemerintah karena kita tahu disamping bisa diperbaharui juga ramah lingkungan serta lebih bersahabat dengan rakyat kecil seperti petani,.
